Anybody take Tramadol?

Hello Everyone,

I just started Tramadol (the brand name is Ralivia) and was wondering if anyone else out there has any experience with it.  I am also taking Neurotin but haven't really had any success with it so I am hoping to find some relief with Tramadol.  Any thoughts?

    Tramadol and I didn't get along.  It made my ears ring and I was so sensitive to sound and light that I had to stay in bed.  I have a lot of friends who have taken it with good success though.  I hope it works for you:-)

    I take Ultracet, which is acetomenophen and Tramadol. Too much tramadol and I start itching.  So I take less than 3 tablets a day. I also take Celebrex for my back pain.  I drink coffee to stay awake and have some energy. I also take Topamax for migraines.  I have not noticed any fibro pain relief with Topamax. It may help with nerve pain, so does Lyrica and Neurontin, but I don't think it works for fibro.

    I'm afraid to try Lyrica, two of my friends tried it and had leg swelling and water retention.

    I have taken tramadol on bad days and it does help me and the only side effects is sometimes it makes me really tired in the afternoon but i have that anyway with the fibro, i have also been on lyrica for about 6 weeks.  it worked well for the first 3 weeks but doesn't seem to be doing as much now.  the only side effects was extremely dry mouth for the first few weeks which has worn off a bit now. and have just found out i have put on 8 lb in 6 weeks.
