Team Fibro

Exercise is one of the few things EVERYONE agrees is important in controlling our FM.  On your worst days, can you imagine that you are on a special team?  A Fibro-Olympic Team!  Can't you just hear us?  We are all there cheering you on!  Come and join Team Fibro where you'll find simple ways to get started, build stamina, set goals and support one another as we bring home the gold!

    Glad I found this group.  Had to give up gym membership becuse I couldn't attendenough to make it cost effective.  Bought stationary bike.  My goal is to ride for 30 minutes 5x a week.  I really need to build up my leg strength.  Good luck to everyone!

    Hello, I just joined. I try to go to the gym every day. I walk about a mile a day on the treadmill and do some exercises on the weight machines. I met with a physical trainer who specializes in fibromyalgia patients. She gave me some great modified exercises that really work for my body. I feel great when I am working out... tired afterwards but I think it will really work in the long run. Plus, I lost 3 lbs in the past few weeks. YAY!

    1 hour of water aerobics this morning. yeah....as I slid of into oblivion. Really struggling just to sit up much less do anything else. My sister is coming up to clean my house for me. My Significant other is worthless when it comes to cleaning house. Begininning to cause a slight rift, oh I mean a  tidal wave coming on. Jane.

    I thought I would join ya'll. I have started a water aerobics class 3 days a week. Hopefully I can make this a habit. I love the water and especially if it is warm. jane.
