I was with a guy when I was diagnosed with FM but I guess it was too much for him to take, me not being able to do all the things I had been able to do before getting ill. Strangely enough, I actually enjoy being on my own, although it's nice to go out on dates and meet nice guys - but honestly, I don't think I could put up with a "full-time" relationship. Guys have too many needs (the ones I know anyway) and really want another mother to look after them and pay them lots of attention. I don't mind all that, but not everyday, for years on end. Maybe it's also my personality - very independant - but I'm happy being single! I know it's not the same for everyone.
I never felt good enough to want to have someone be a part of my life because of Fibro was in charge so life has been really lonley...... I had a man who I started seeing before I got sick.... He ended up being a user.... He did ask me to marry him once, while leaning on my vacumn cleaner in my living room infront of my kids by saying IF YOU LOOSE WEIGHT, I WANT YOU TO MARRY ME!!! Real incentive huh! But raising three small children alone was a challenge.... but they are grown now... but I am getting to be a part of my grandkids lives more now since I started drinking LIMU..... It is turning my life around, so someday maybe I could think of having someone to share my life.... It has been really lonely sometimes..... since alot of my friends didn't understand since I didn't look sick, that I really was sick.... only my best friend kept coming to see me... others didn't bother... since I couldn' get out or afford to after I was waiting for disability.... then life was challenging.... but if you want to know what I was talking about that has changed many fibro peoples lives watch the Video www.discoverlimu.com/lindalimublessings
