One Fibromyalgia patient was studied. Pages 10, 186, 414
She was age 36-37, had mild-moderate fibromyalgia before pregnancy, "PD" means cause of physical change was both Pregnancy and Disability related. Here were her results related ONLY to PD. I did not include those that were pregnancy related only (i.e. morning sickness/hemorrhoids).
Trimester 1
PD Terrible fatigue
Trimester 2
PD Asymptomatic except when working long days
PD Back pain made walking difficult
Trimester 3
none
Aftereffects:
Had a vaginal birth. Increased fatigue after delivery and 3 weeks of post-partum period.

The point of this book is to lift anxiety and depression that can may accompany chronic pain (thus perhaps decreasing some pain or helping cope with it better), understand how thoughts and emotions affect physical symptoms (mind-body connection)...
