I am WAY worse in the winter too.  I just moved from Seattle to Montana & am preparing myself feet of snow instead of inches this winter.  I think I'll take the kids to the public pool, a lot.

Well-I'm not in the NW, but winter is worse for me.  Any cold or dampness makes my bones, joints & muscles ache at least 5X's worse.  Living in Maine, our winters are pretty harsh.  If we aren't getting barried in snow, we have many sub-zero temp days, and living on the coast we get a good amount of freezing rain, and have to deal with the wind chill almost daily.  Summer hasn't been pleasent here this year either.  Today was the first day in well over a week we had sun.  The dampness just settled in my bones & I can barely move.  I noticed while visiting Ohio in early winter, it was a different kind of cold.....not so damp.  Don't know if that would help me long term or not.

OMG YES!!! We started getting more cold than moisture but it doesn't seem to matter, the pain is SO horrible. I don't know that there is any amount of pain meds that could take all the pain away during the winter months!

I didn't notice it so much last year because I was still recovering from the surgery to remove the cyst from my pituitary gland.  However, the last few days here in the Pacific Northwest have been damp and chilly and I'm definitely noticing it!  My mother has RA and used to live here and she recommended I get a dehumidifier.  She said it helped her so much when she had it while they were here.  I think I'll be doing that because jsut after three days of rainy weather, I hurt!

Yes I do have more pain in the winter. I think it has alot to do with the barometric pressure too. I feel worse right before any change in the weather, good or bad. Like I will start hurting real bad and then it starts to or stops raining and I can feel the pain just go. Like a big release.

Well...I'm the odd-ball here. I have more pain in the heat of summer. The only thing I notice in the winter is the wind. The cold has not been an issue.
