    Update, it's been 7 months since her surgery and she had her 80th birthday in May.  We are all so happy and thanks everyone for the prayers and thoughts.

    I believe that probiotics can help us. But not that it's a cure.

    I've noticed that if I eat yogurt everyday it does help ease some of my irritable bowl and vulvadynia symptoms.

    Actually, I could almost believe that one.  I have a lot of problems with Candida outbreaks in my intestines if I eat a lot of yeasty foods, which I love by the way.  I love cheese, pickles, vinegar on my greens, pickles etc.  Now I only eat them in moderation.

    I had a chiropractor tell me that they are discovering that candida yeast is responsible for a lot of fibro symptoms.  She also said that probiotics will kill it and improve the fibro.  Has anyone else heard of this? or has anyone taken probiotics?  If so, what were your results?  Not sure if she is just trying to sell me something or if this is something that might actually help some of it.

    Teri, I haven't heard of the med he put you on.  Is it a generic for something?  I will look it up and post here what I find. 

    FM tends to run with alot of other illnesses unfortunately.  I have FM, IBS, arthritis, tachyacadia, degenerative disc disease, and 2 bad discs. 

    I hope that you will find this place helpful and if you have any questions, just ask.

    Hi Michelle!  I figured out how to get your Lounge!  I am not so Computer Saavy but getting there now!  Of course my 19 year old son has to help me!  Ugh.  Thank you for inviting me here.  I am thankful for everyone here and on wearefibro.org.  Since yesterday I have received many kind words. 

    Yesterday was the first day of "true" diagnosis so my Doctor prescribed Cyclobenzaprine for me.  He feels that since I am so sleep deprived that this is the first step in helping me.  I am sure that most everyone here has already dealt with this???  I feel like my head is spinning on what directions to go as I have already been diagnosed and treated for so many other things.   Migraines, IBS, IC, Asthesma... does this complicate things for other people? 

    I'm a bit confused at this point. Thank you so much for including me!  I hope I can be of help to everyone else as well, I've been through a ton of treatments such as Feldenkrais, PT, etc.  just on my own for pain.
