Holidays in July
I have a goal! start EARLY this year to get my holiday gifts done in advance of the holidays. I want to eliminate some of the stress and over-work at holiday time by spreading the work out over the next months. Of course I always have such intentions but this is going to be the year!!!! Are ya' with me?!!
I though I would start small; by going through my patterns and selecting appropriate items for folks on my list. This year I will go for smaller items; nice quality/less volume! Last year I got so bogged down and overwhelmed by trying to do sweaters or other big projects for each person-too much! This year I will select items like hand warmers, scarves, simple wraps, socks etc. I will use nice fibers, but lees of them this way which will also help me keep my budget in line.
I am going to take my time making these selections and planning my budget and timeline. I'd love it if everyone shared their thoughts....
