What are we working on?

Hey ladies - thank you Karen for the warm welcome! She asked me what I was working on currently so I thought it would be fun if we all posted about that.  Lately I've been making more jewelry than knitting, but I've always got something on the go.  My brother asked me to make him some of my famous socks for his birthday instead of the chainmaille bracelet I wanted to try (not realizing of course that the socks will take 20fold longer at least LOL).  I told him he'd have them by Xmas.  They are navy and light blue, stripey.  I have really thin sock yarn so i double it up and knit with 2 strands at a time, otherwise they wouldn't be done until Xmas 2020 LOL.  I'm also working on a crochet choker for my cousin - I keep screwing it up (she saw it on etsy and sent me the picture to try to copy from), so it's taking awhile...And of course I also have about 10 projects that need 'finishing' - seaming, embellishing, bordering etc. Anyone else have difficulty doing the end work like that? I knit to relax and that part isn't relaxing for me...

Coming up soon, I'm going to be in charge of an afghan squares project for the Blue Ribbon Campaign for ME/CFS.  We will be accepting self-designed squares from anyone who wants to help us out, and then auctioning off the complete afghan(s) to raise money for our cause.  Currently we're just starting and don't have much in the way of fibro info, but plan to include fibro more extensively in our awareness efforts in the future. Our president, Andrea only has CFS but myself and other of the main members have both CFS and Fibro, so of course it is very important to use to have our fibro heard and cured too.   Well this was not meant to be a promo for our charity LOL, but if any of you are interested let me know and I can give u more info. I'm going to be designing and knitting my square as an example before the call goes out for additional squares, but hopefully that will happen in the next month!

Thanks for getting the ball rolling! let's see, do I admit the number of UFO's (unfinished objects) I have in my closet!!!! Or do I just talk about the few I am actually working on recently! LOL!

I am designing a sweater as I go right now. I am aiming for it to have a bit of an empire waist and sort of belled sleeves. I am using Cascade 220 wool in a brownish tweed and in a goldish tweed together. Not far along enough to post pics yet!

I always have a few sock on needles somewhere! and I can't help finding lots of cute little girl baby patterns to work on for the grand baby!

    How about you???

I like to knit socks too. right now I am still trying to get a sweater design worked out. Been feeling poorly due to a fall so haven't had much ability to focus on anything these last few days.

I'm working on a Camouflage afghan for my Nephews bed. I have been working on it for a very long time. Most days my hands hurt too much to even think about picking it up but I do try and it's coming along nicely. It's quite a big project actually.

Sometimes due to Fibro fog I have to take out some of it just so I can remember the pattern. Kinda pathetic actually considering it is only a 4 row pattern, lol

Good luck all with whatever it is you are working on :)

Afghans are probably the biggest projects there are! but I have made a few and they are very rewarding :)  Keep at it, I'm sure your nephew will adore it forever!

I'm still working on my brother's socks - it is going very slowly as I haven't had much time or inclination to knit lately. I have been really busy with the volunteer work and the most I can usually do after that is lie in bed and read. But baby steps will get you there eventually :)

How is everyone else's projects coming?
