I was first diagnosed in 1991(14 years old) with the Epstein-Barr virus from my bloodwork.Then,I was so bad that I became bedridden for 4 months.That's when,I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.I needed physical therapy to get my muscles stronger.I relapsed a year later and had to goto nightschool to continue my 10th-12th years of highschool.My mother worked for a chiropractor,so I recieved treatments there.Years later, that's when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.Dealing with this,is very hard because I'm a mother of 3.I always knew that I wanted to be a mother.Sometimes,I feel guilty and think it was insensitive of me to have children because I'm not healthy enough to be the best mother for them.My insurance doesnt cover what I need to feel better and money is tight since I don't work.My boyfriend is a Network Security Admin  for  the nation's first Promotion Research Organization  for the pharmaceutical industry, but he's just starting out his career.It's not enough to support 5 people.I guess it's my own fault for not feeling well.My b/f has better insurance, but I don't feel you HAVE to get married.I have applied for SSDI 3 times.The final time, was back in 2000 with a lawyer.I was denied I because I wasnt "disabled enough".I guess they expect you to be bedridden and I can't with 3 children.I couldnt even get it under my deceased father's income when I was younger.I know this illness is more known now.Hopefully, one day I'l be approved.I have my doubts though because of the baby boomers.There won't be anything left.Even though my mother and my b/f are my support system, it is very frustrating on them.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and then Fibromyalgia

Extreme exhaustion, depression,migraines,anxiety attacks,social anxiety,light sensitivity,slurred speech, forgetfulness,joints hurt,& always sick.

I felt great after being on the things that made me feel better, but that was when my mother paid for stuff.It can be very costly.

Herbs/Vits, B-12 shots, Chiropractic, Massages,& Magnets.

Well everyone is different, but for me personally I couldn't tolerate meds.
