Fun activities that do not require alot of preparation or energy...

Please share with us any ideas you have for activities that the kids will enjoy...that do not require much preparation or energy.

    Cards - like Go Fish, Uno, etc. 

    Board Games

    Take them to the park and sit on your ass - but watch them very closely!!!!

    Kid servant - they dust while you watch

    Songs!  They sing and dance for YOU!  Or teach them a new one.

    Have them read you a story (at their level) or make one up from a picture book.

    classifying-  If you have a junk drawer, let them sort it for you.

    Let them try on your shoes, clothes, pajamas.  Girls love it: they think they are playing dressup.

    Kids love crafts. Jars of buttons and odds and ends. We always had an art box and kept a pile of old magazines. Add cheap poster board and you can sit in the middle of your bed propped up on pillows and make collages. I loved keeping Christmas cards and the next winter making snowy scenes. Draw a hill or road and start adding christmas trees, snow men, sleighs. I know a lazy way to do almost everything because before I had fibro I was a night nurse with small kids. I learned how to keep them occupied on my pull out bed in the living room while I studied or rested. But many is the time I woke up with playdough stuck to my face. or glitter whiskers.
