No I don't have it but as I told you before my best friend had it and they did a complete hysterectomy and so far it hasn't came back, thank God. She never did get to have children, but God has blessed her with grandchildren early and nieces and nephews so she has the best of both worlds. She can spoil them, keep them as long as she wants, and then send them home.
I had endometriosis when I was younger. I had laser surgery twice, took experimental meds, then at age 25 had a complete hysterectomy. I never got the chance to have children either, sigh :( I have 2 children now though, both girls....my Toy Schnauzers...Snickers and CoCo, LOL.
Yes I did have it, was diagnosed with it shortly after my third son was born back in 1985. I had gotten my tubes tied after the birth of my third son was born and not planning on any more children. So in 1984 I had a partial hysterectomy and have not regretted it. I was one of the lucky ones though many women are unable to have children if they get this awful illness. But now things are different if you get it there are many options.
I have endometriosis....it doesn't bother me much anymore as i have an IUD (Mirena) and i have my tubes tied. But before i got my tubes tied, i had surgery every single year to have a cyst removed off of my ovaries and the endo scar tissue burned out. It was awful. I was given several different meds...none of them helped me. One of them i took when i was about 19 yr old and it was called Depo Lupron or something like that....it put me into menapause for 9 months...my mother in law jokes and says i've never been the same since...that i have an old lady's body now.
