SUPPORT GROUP/MONTHLY NEWSLETTERI have created this community because last March (2008) I started an online support group.  My only way of contact was via email and I couldn't have "group" meetings at any specific time.  I just talked with everyone via email.  I do love the one on one and will continue with it.  With this website, this allows all in the group to have the opportunity to talk with one another and myself at the same time via chat, or they can talk together and leave messages for and get to know one another.  Anyone wishing to join our support group is welcome.  My contact email address is f******@yahoo.com.  I also have a facebook group with the same name.  I have been providing, free of charge, a newsletter to all my group members.  I love putting together the newsletter.  If anyone is interested email me at the above email and I will add you to my newsletter email list.  Advocacy and Awareness for chronic pain disorders are my life passion.  I feel so fortunate to have the ability to do what I do.  I am greatful to have been recommended to this site....thank you Kim!!!

Northern CA to BC, Ocean Shores to Helena.  Calling northwesterners!  My hope with this group is that folks who need someone to hug may be able to find a friend near them as well as their online friends & supporters.

"For the fibro-mytes that just don't get enough shut-eye. Insomniacs, narcoleptics, DSPS-sufferers,  sleep apne-apes, and RLS'ers: let us unite together with the good brew that is caffeinated....coffee. Forget the pillows and sleeping partners, let us gather and forget the one thing that ails us, sleep."

This group is for those of us who live with not only fibromyalgia, but also additonal life-long chronic disorder(s). I live with severe Narcolepsy with cataplexy, Fibromaylaig, and Rheumatioid Arthritis. I cannot drive anymore or work a normal job. Life is hard, but it is good to have friends who understand and want to support one another spiritually and emotionally.

The title speaks for itself; one should always try to see the glass as being half full:)

People with Fybromyalgia (FMS) that have decided to do all they can as drug-free as possible (change eating habits, stretch, work out) to regain a normal lifestyle! But also recognizing the need for medicine at times! What do you do to reduce the pain? I start this community to talk about our experience, give and receive advice...

Any complications with your diagnosis - was it wrong the first time round or did they get it spot on. Either way we'd love to hear about it!
