A group for teens suffering with Fibromyalgia. It's rough being a teenager and going through such pain. This is a place where we can discuss what we are going through and make suggestions to see if we can make our lives more bearable. If anyone has suggestions on how to survive high school with Fibro please comment, I sure would take any advice I could get!
Currently, Lyrica and Cymbalta are the only FDA-approved drugs for the treatment of fibromyalgia, but this is just the beginning. Several medications are being developed specifically for this condition. Indeed, the outlook for people with fibromyalgia is definitely improving, with many more effective treatment approaches on the horizon.This group is designed to bring together the community so that we can all engage in meaningful discussion about the various treatments, be it a drug, relaxation, cognitive theraphy or general wellness programs. Feel free to submit your ideas and opinions!

This is community for all of us who are out in the workforce struggling to maintain a career while having a chronic illness. It doesn't matter if you work part-time, full time, at a desk, teaching, business owner, or you have a more physical job. How do you make it through your day? What adjustments have you had to make, obstacles you have had to overcome, and looking past employers who don't understand. I hope this community will offer encouragement for all of us working with a chronic illnesses.
