Does the weather effect your pain?

I have noticed the damp weather here in the mountains causes flare ups. Also the low pressure fronts.

Does the Carolina weather effect you?

I don't really know about Carolina...but weather does effect me.  Strangley, I ask my Rheumotologist about it and he said no...I say yes...Deffient correlation

Hmm..thats terrible a DR doesn't see it. You can even go to weather.com and get the pain index for your area. They have articles about how the weather effects pain. I guess some Dr.'s only believe what they can "see".

Definately!  Cold weather and damp weather causes me to hurt all over a lot worse than normal.  I always dread the winters.

Oh I have been a wreck with the cold dampness and rain we just had pass through middle TN.  I sometimes know even two days ahead when the weather changes. My hips and legs will ach So bad and the cold gets into my bones. If my arms and shoulders are aching too usually there is thunder and lightening. Hubby said he was gonna sign me up to be an online weather gal....LOL... But seriously it does affect my condition as well as energy levels. The more pain the less I can function, think and react.

The weather definitely affects my pain level. I can predict when it's going to rain. Rainy damp weather is the worst for me.  The barometric pressure also affects me.  I love the fall so i have been trying to work in the yard more and I think just moving around has helped me although I still have pain, I think fall & spring are my best seasons. Winter is really bad. Summer just makes me fatigued more than anything

I believe that the weather effects my fibro (and I don't have arthritis).  I live in So. Ca., but I always know when it's going to rain.  My bones and muscles start to ache more than usual.  I could be a weather forecaster!!  I'm sure areas effect everyone differently - I lived in Hawaii where it is warm but humid - the humidity made me hurt all the time.  Now in So. Ca., I notice it when it rains or when it's cold.  The funny thing is, I feel ok if I'm in the snow - weird huh??  I use ThermaCare heat wraps constantly to warm up my body - I wear them at night and sleep with them on.

Without a doubt!  I also know when a change is coming before I ever hear a weather report...It is difficult.  Usually the rain affects me the worst.  And I always seem to be so cold lately...
