8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back by Esther Gokhale
This book is about posture. A different way to look at it though. My sister talks about "pain posture" where we carry our heads forward or walk stiffly because of the pain. This author gives suggestions and exercises you can do ANYWHERE! She has ways to sit at the computer where your back is in "traction", she gives suggestions on how to sleep so your back is being stretched in the right way while you sleep, and ways to practice moving so you don't end up in the "pain posture" with all its problems. I think it is a good book, and I need to start practicing again because I am surely ending up with the problems from not doing it again. Anyone else read it? What did you think?
