I am on vacation at my sister's house and there is no wi-fi. The kids are usually on the computer and so I cannot contribute until I get back on Monday.

These discussions look interesting! I can't wait until I can read them and take a better look.

Just wanted to say that I did some candle magic last night but I wasn't too specific: I just said to myself: I lit a candle and wrote on it for Jerry and also for his friend. Jerry got a job and his friend has the interview he wanted so why not light a candle for myself?

So, I simply inscribed a money sign on my candle and asked for some financial gain.

Well, today I was trying to catch a bus to CCAC (a community college here in Pitt. PA).

I found the website got the schedule and stops and headed out . I had to transfer downtown and it said to get off one place and get another bus. I couldn't find the bus stop and I walked up and down back and forth and all around getting more and more lost.

Finally, since it is wicked hot and an ozone action day (not to mention I have pms: lol), I decided to head for home and stop off at my fav. coffee shop.

So, I headed for Fifth Ave. to catch my bus. I saw my CCAC bus go right by me! Ugh! It was all the way down several blocks from where the website said it should be!

I just wasted $2.50 and I really am low on funds!

So, I stalk off and while I was walking I saw something on the ground: it was a $50 bill! I turned and saw another $50 bill! I found $100 just lying on the street! I waited a few min. and looked to see if some poor soul would come running back for it ( I know I would hate to lose that much money!) no one came. So, I just took it.

Wow! I hope no one is really missing it. But, I really needed it and there it was.

How often do you even find a dollar on the ground let alone $100!

I thank the Mother for that one!

I dunno much about candle magic but I have been writing things on a green candle and lighting it. I have been concentrating and sending positive energy to my bf so he can find a job. I did a form of a spell: writing down over and over what you want.

It worked! I got everything I asked for!  My bf start his new job Friday and there is someone there from his old company to sort of guide him.

I am so pleased! He is not a believer in such things but he appreciates me doing them.

I just wanted to share a wonderful day with other pagans.

I am I guess what you would call a baby in all of this and I am so pleased at the outcome.

I would love to learn  more as well Natalie. I have been interested in this since I was 7 years old.

I have always identified with the pagan way of seeing the world but I have never actually been one. Although I suppose if you think that way you probably already are one, huh?

I just don't do any real rituals other than sending energy and lighting candles. I like the idea of candle magic.

Anyone know about that?

Or can suggest a good book on it?

Y'all have done a great job keeping this group up and going. I am so sorry to have created this group and then fell of the face of the internet. I let FMS take over my life for a couple of months but I think I am back now. I look forward to getting re-involved here and connected with my friends.
